How time flies by! It’s been a year already when we honoured the best and most successful marketing and communications actions in cooperation with our suppliers in the Wolpertinger Awards Show. During the past 12 month we worked again closely together with our manufacturing partners, so we were able to celebrate again the best campaigns.
EBV is offering many tools and services for its suppliers and other partners to promote their solutions and products. The contestants for the “EBV Oscars”, which were given for the 4th time already, thus lined-up in five categories again, which mean important and powerful communication channels:
- Social Media
- Seminar & Training
- Integrated Marketing Campaign
EBV Vice President Communications Bernd Schlemmer again led through the ceremony. And this time he could fall back on royal support. No-one else than His Majesty King Ludwig ll of Bavaria availed himself of the opportunity to hand over the awards to this year’s winners. Apparently also high aristocracy got notice about this extraordinary event in the beautiful Chiemgau, maybe through Social Media.
Talking about Social Media – that was the first category yesterday, in which the first winner was announced. Nominated were Infineon, NXP and STMicroelectronics. Finally STMicroelectronics made the race and received the award for their STM32 campaign.
After the applause of the audience fell silent again, the nominees for the next category – EBVtv Video – where presented by John Langford, EBV Regional VP Sales North Europe: Toshiba, Maxim Integrated and ON Semiconductor.
Who was next? The nominees in the category Webinar – Micron, Infineon, ON Semiconductor and STMicroelectronis – were presented by EBV Vice President Technical Development, Antonio Fernandez. What a surprise! The race was so close that we had two winners: ON Semiconductor and Infineon.
Seminar & Training was the next category that was presented. NXP Semiconductors, Maxim Integrated and STMicroelectronics determined the winner between themselves.
Thomas Staudinger, EBV Vice President Marketing, last but not least, presented the nominees for the best Integrated Marketing Campaign: Broadcom, Toshiba and ON Semiconductor.
That was already it! The awards show went to an end very quickly. Once again the host Bernd Schlemmer entered to stage to say some final words and to thank all the nominees and winners for their great cooperation during the past year. Congratulations again to all the winners of the 4th Wolpertinger Awards! Then it was time to celebrate and to enjoy the rest of the evening. Looking forward to the next show already!
