This year, the international trade fair for electronic components, systems and applications will be opening its gates for the 27th time already. From November 8 – 11, around 75.000 visitors will be expected to visit the booths of exhibitors from more than 50 countries in the International Congress Center Munich. Here’s why you should attend too and what you can expect from electronica 2016.
The EBV IoT Journey
After the successful event two years ago, we will again be one of the exhibitors at this year’s fair. For quite exactly one year we are running the EBV IoT campaign “Smart, Secure, Connected – Everywhere” – the biggest marketing campaign ever in EBV history. Not surprisingly, our presence will be focused on and driven by the EBV IoT initiative. But that’s not everything: Because we are so enthusiastic about this topic, we will talk about it on our largest booth ever, which was developed under a brand new concept. Visit us in Hall A5 on Booth 562 and find out more!
In order to bring you the EBV IoT closer, we created something really special for you! We take you on a journey through the fascinating vastness of the Internet of Things. It’s getting interactive when you dive into EBV’s latest technologies, applications, markets, products and suppliers. You will be thrilled! Furthermore, there will be plenty of space on our booth and in our lounge area for talks and discussions. Get to know the specialists from our Vertical Segments team and EBVchips team.
What would electronica be without its conferences, forums and congresses? Knowledge transfer, sharing market information and trends attract the visitor to come to Munich. Four conferences with prominent speakers give visitors a chance to get in-depth knowledge in many sectors, such as Automotive, Embedded, Wireless and Industry 4.0. During the electronica Forum experts exchange ideas and information about the latest development. Our experts will among the participants as well. Here are the dates you should mark in your calendars:
On November 8th (02:30-03:30 pm) Markus Vogt, EBV Director Vertical Segment Healthcare, will be in discussion with other industry experts about “Wearables for healthcare – Components for digital medicine”. Join the electronica Forum in Hall A3 on Booth 242.
“Smart Power for Smart Vehicles” will be the subject during the presentation of Johannes Breitschopf (Infineon Technologies) together with EBV Director Vertical Segment Automotive Frank-Steffen Russ. Join on November 10th (10:00 – 10:30 am) in Hall B5 / Booth 343 and learn about decentralized power distribution architectures for efficient automotive designs.
Lighting specialist should not miss Sebastian Huelck, responsible for EBV’s Lighting and Optoelectronics Segment, during his speech about “Methods and Concepts for Optimised LED Drivers”. Come to Hall A3 / Booth 242 and get an overview and highlights from the range of intelligent drivers.
