Embedded World 2017 – Highlights Of Day One

embedded world 2017

Recent weeks were characterized by hours and hours of preparation, countless phone calls and emails, numerous brainstorming and voting sessions in order to set up everything for the biggest trade fair EBV is attending this year. Embedded World 2017 opened its doors today in Nuremberg, Germany, and the EBV booth presents itself in its full splendour.

During the first day, exhibition visitors usually try to get an overall overview of the trade fair. A bit disoriented the crowd is streaming through the halls. Though, there is no time to lose, because there’s plenty to see during the three days of the leading international fair for embedded systems. In order to guide the visitors to our booth in Hall 3A, small EBV-footprints can be found everywhere on the floor of the exhibition centre.

Two hundred square meters are completely dedicated to the Internet of Things (IoT). With our manufacturing partners and their application specialists, we introduce the latest technologies, applications, and technological trends for the IoT and Industry 4.0.

For the first time we represent our new franchise partner Maxim Integrated on our Embedded World booth. A specialist introduces the workstation in this short video:

Security for the IoT nowadays is more important than ever before. That’s why we dedicated an entire workstation to demonstrate this critical subject in a use case. Together with Infineon Technologies and Data I/O the demonstrator was explained to representatives of the press who assembled at our booth at the end of the day. Everything you need to know about how to gain easy access to personalized security hardware can be read in that article.
