Industry 4.0 is the next big thing. The smart connection of production sites and thus the intelligent monitoring of products from design over manufacturing to delivery to the customer allows to gain completely new and highly valuable insights on production and design processes.
Industrial IoT (IIoT) technology which enables the Industry 4.0 can be complex and the implementation can take a lot of effort – however it holds great benefits even for smaller businesses.
In order to help mid-sized and small businesses to understand the available solutions and learn how to integrate IIoT technology into their production processes in the most efficient way EBV will participate during the Industry 4.0 and Industrial Internet Summit staged by Markt&Technik and Computer&AUTOMATION in conjunction with the Association for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies (VDE).
The more than 50 high-profile presentations of the industry and research sector which cover everything around commercial IoT solutions, including the very important standardisation roadmap for IIoT applications, practical examples from Europe, China an the US as well as important aspects like cyber-security will ensure that the participants get all the information necessary to evaluate the best solutions for their own businesses and projects.
The two day event will take place in Munich, Germany October 20-21, 2015 and will be held in English to attract managers and leaders from different countries in Europe.
A special highlight will be the speech of Bernd Pfeil, VP Sales & Marketing Central Europe at EBV about “Industry 4.0 for Small Business – the Distributor as Industry 4.0 Enabler” on Thursday, 21st October 2015 from 10:30 – 11:00.
In addition EBV and our partner Analog Devices, will be represented at this specialised trade fair with an own booth offering you deep insights into state-of-the-art solutions for sensing, process control and signal processing.
